CARROLLS CORNER: Health and Wellness will be top of mind next month when groups of local businesses come together at the Carrolls Corner Community Centre.
Organizers have nailed down discussions around living with chronic illnesses; stress; and one they think is much needed in this day and age, bullying.
The Expo is scheduled for April 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Carrolls Corner Community Centre.
Admission is free but those attending are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item that can be donated to the local food bank.
The schedule sees Helen Eldershaw talk about living with a chronic illness at 10:30 a.m.; Aurae Wellness Coaching’s Danielle LeFort will talk about stress from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
At 12 noon, Elmsdale Integrated Health Services- pt Health will have a discussion on the benefits of an integrated health team.
From 12:30-1 p.m. Strides Spa & Wellness Centre will have Acupuncturist, Doreen Howard and Osteopath Practitioner, Emily Herman speaking.
LeFort will speak about bullying from 1-2 p.m., before Strides’ Chris Moore will talk about having a personal trainer.
