ENFIELD: A group of off-road enthusiasts helped raise a little cash for the Caring & Sharing Angel Tree food bank in Enfield recently.

The River Rats chapter, part of the Pirate Off Road Nation, held a jeep run from Enfield and ended up in Fall River. The event had member participation from three jeep clubs take part. Those other clubs were from East Hants; Halifax; and Pugwash.

“Since my chapter, River Rats, hosted it i wanted to hold a raffle and 100 per cent of the tickets sales were going towards Caring & Sharing,” said Chris Ainsworth.

He said that NAPA Elmsdale donated a garage in a box kit and with sales the raffle raised $157.00 dollars. The winner was from the Pugwash chapter.

Ainsworth said everyone had a fun, great run for a good cause—and the weather was good too
