BOUTILIER, Kenneth Irving – 97, died Thursday, December 1, 2016, in the Windsor Elms Village, Falmouth. Born in Economy, he was a son of the late Walter and Sarah Ann (Westhaver) Boutilier. Kent was a woodsman in his younger days and a long time resident of Devon. Although quiet and known to keep to himself, Kent enjoyed local news, a funny joke (told or received), and time spent with friends. Kent was generous and selfless to those he called family. He is fondly remembered by dear friends, Ross (Sandra) Dillman and Peter (Maggie) Dillman and their children and grandchildren. Kent was predeceased by his companion, Verna Dillman (Carroll); sisters, Bertha, Marjorie, Shirley, Scerena, and Alvina; and brothers, Scott, Alonzo, Noble, and Eugene. Cremation has taken place and burial will follow in Sandy Hill Cemetery, Belnan. Following Kent’s wishes, no service will be held. Special thanks to Kent’s neighbours at the Enfield Manor, with whom he enjoyed his time there, and to the staff of the Windsor Elms Village who were compassionate in Kent’s care over the last year.
