Busting down barriers with a fun run

MILFORD: Grab your running shoes and sign yourself up for an exciting fun run in Milford on Sept. 9.

The Milford Recreation Association is hosting a Barrier Buster Fun Run on an accessible loop of their trail system as part of its Barrier Buster Festival.

Participants can choose from half mile or one mile options; medals will be awarded to all participants.

The run is open to all ages and abilities — runners, walkers and wheelchair users.

Registration for the run begins at 10 a.m. at the Milford Rec Centre with the run, walk or wheel starting at 10:30 a.m.

This run is to raise awareness of the importance of Access4All in East Hants.

For more information or to pre-register email ajjuurlink@gmail.com.

The Barrier Buster Project is made possible by the Rick Hansen Foundation Access4All Canada 150 Signature Initiative.
