Mills Ltd until 1973. At that time he purchased the property that would later become a small seasonal campground in Enfield, NS, where he formed many lifelong friendships. In 2000 he settled in Enfield permanently with his wife to enjoy the final years of his life. Cecil was happiest keeping busy outdoors. He enjoyed tinkering in his workshop and sharing a laugh with friends. He was mechanically inclined and some of his most unique projects included building a three-wheeler from used car parts and fabricating his own elevator. Cecil believed in living simply and his kind nature made him a dear friend to many. He considered himself lucky to be surrounded by so many wonderful neighbours. He was a devote member of St. Bernard’s Parish, Enfield, NS. No visitation by request. A funeral mass was held March 1 in Saint Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Enfield. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Condolences, words of comfort and memories of Cecil may be shared with the family at:
