ENFIELD: RCMP confirm reports that missing teen MacKenzie Eagles has been found safe and sound.

In an interview with Global Halifax, MacKenzie’s mom Kelly Eagles said she spoke with her daughter on Saturday morning, Oct. 14. She had phoned her mom and said she was in Dartmouth.

MacKenzie had last been seen on Sept. 23 in the Enfield/Elmsdale area. Her bicycle and her helmet were located by a family member near the Halifax Stanfield airport along Highway 102 on Oct. 1.

Halifax District RCMP confirmed the news in a release saying she was found.

“The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance, shares and retweets on social media,” said Cpl. Jenn Clarke in a release.
