Your “need to know” guide for East Hants Tide Fest


Where do I get my ticket?

Music Passes for Tide Fest are available online at or in person at the following locations:

Shooters Bar & Grill, McNeill’s Shell, Leno’s Stop Shop, The East Hants Sportsplex, AMP Guardian locations (Elmsdale, Shubenacadie, and Stewiacke), Anthony’s Freshmart, Maritime Accounts Receivable (Kennetcook). *Please note that only full weekend passes are available in person, Friday night only, and Saturday only passes are available online.

Can I purchase my ticket at the door?

Yes. Tickets will be sold during the event, but we are expecting a large crowd so purchase early as the event could sellout!

How much are tickets?

Full weekend music passes are $40 (available online & in person)

Saturday Passes are $30 (available online only)

Friday Night Passes are $20 (available online only)

Youth Pass (u-19) Saturday from 2pm-9pm $10

*All tickets available in person at the door

How do I show that I purchased online?

Online ticket holders will be sent an email with their ticket included. Simply print the ticket and bring it with you to the event to be scanned.

Do I need a ticket to watch ball hockey, washer toss or attend the Canada 150 Sport & Cultural Fair?

No. The Canada 150 Sport & Cultural Fair is completely free and open to the public, there will be activities that include suggested donations with proceeds benefitting community groups. Individuals wanting to watch ball hockey or washer toss are free to do so.




Where do I park?

Parking at the Sportsplex will be restricted to a limited amount of handicap parking only. Tide Fest will be offering a shuttle service with buses for participants who park across from the Elm Truck Centre in Elmsdale with transportation to and from the Sportsplex. Parking is also available along Highway #2 on the right hand side heading Northbound towards the Sportsplex, or on local streets where permitted.

Does it cost any money to use the shuttle?

No. The shuttle service is absolutely free, and will be bringing participants back and forth on 5-10 minute loops.




Is Tide Fest indoors or outdoors?

Both. Some elements of the event are happening outside in the parking lot, while others are scheduled to take place inside.

What if it rains?


Tide Fest will be an enjoyable experience rain or shine. Many of the events are taking place inside with outdoor options meaning inclement weather will not impact the event.


Where can I eat?


Tide Fest will have a number of local food vendors that will be offering food, treats, and refreshments throughout the weekend. Picnic tables and areas to eat will be available in the parking lot.


Can I use a credit card/debit?


Some food vendors may have credit card/debit capabilities, but to purchase music passes or alcoholic beverages you will need cash. ATMs will be available onsite.
