UPPER MUSQUODOBOIT: RCMP are investigating the theft of a 2012 GMC Sierra truck during the early morning hours of Nov. 2 in Upper Musquodoboit.

In a release on Nov. 3, Halifax District RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the truck.

Cpl. Dal Hutchinson said a black 2012 GMC Sierra truck was stolen from a parking lot on Highway 336 in Upper Musquodoboit.

“The owner awoke to discover his truck was missing from a parking lot across the street from his home,” said Cpl. Hutchinson.

In that parking spot was a 2005 Honda Civic.

“It was determined that the car had been stolen from the Truro area earlier in the week,” said Cpl. Hutchinson.

The back of the truck contains a diesel fuel tank and a yellow tool box, which contains multiple tools. The license plate on the truck is Nova Scotia #FAB579.

The investigation is continuing.
