LANTZ: Blake Pilgrim scored the game winner 35 seconds into overtime, sending his Major Bantam Ranger teammates streaming onto the ice at the East Hants Sportsplex in celebration of their hard fought 5-4 victory over the Pictou County Wear Well Bombers on Oct. 5.

The Rangers led 3-1 and 4-1 at one point in the third period, before the Bombers rallied back to tie it 4-4 late and force overtime. The fourth goal came after a Ranger was tripped up in the Bombers zone in front of the ref, but went uncalled. Pictou went down the ice and scored the tying goal.
