Community Rider gets new wheels

At a ceremony today, March 3, East Hants Community Rider unveiled its new passenger van that will be used to pick up clients and people in the community. A ribbon was cut by Tanya Burke, Executive Director with Community Rider, to mark the occasion outside the Elmsdale Legion.

East Hants councillors Stephen King (Elmsdale) and Cecil Dixon, from Enfield, assisted Burke by holding the ribbon.

Check out an upcoming issue of The Weekly Press and right here on our website for the full story on the new van.
