ENFIELD: Police are continuing to ask for the public’s assistance as they search for a missing teenage girl.

MacKenzie Eagles, 15, was last seen on Sept. 23 in the Enfield/Elmsdale area, says a release from East Hants RCMP on Oct. 8.

“Her bicycle and her helmet were located by a family member near the (Halifax Stanfield) airport along Highway 102 last Sunday (Oct. 1),” said Cpl. Dal Hutchinson with N.S. RCMP. “There was nothing to indicate she had been involved in a collision.”

He said RCMP feel Mackenzie is in the Halifax-Dartmouth area and continue to follow up on any leads from the public.

“Mackenzie’s family and RCMP are concerned for her well-being and would like for her to contact family or police to confirm she is okay,” said Cpl. Hutchinson.

Eagles is described as a white female, five-feet tall and 150 pounds, with dark blonde/ light brown hair and blue/ green eyes.

“When she was last seen she was wearing a navy blue sweater, and was carrying a dark coloured backpack with yellow writing on it,” said Cpl. Hutchinson.
