Feds Fisheries Fund investment “a tremendous opportunity”

Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil calls the federal government’s investment of $325 million into the Atlantic Fisheries Fund “a great opportunity” for the province’s fisheries sector and the Atlantic region.

“We know the importance of our fisheries to our economy,” said McNeil in a release. “This investment will help grow our economy and it will mean more jobs for Nova Scotians.”

Here is video of the announcement made by Federal Fisheries Minister Dominic LeBlanc this morning March 10 at Gateway Facilities at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
